Port Appin
The open top single decker is 99% ready to go on the shelf. Close up photography shows up a couple of patches of thin paint and some shaky lines but otherwise...
There is no ferry bus or Island Hopper or whatever in real life - there never was. The geography isn't as convenient as the advertising signs make out, but then it's just a model of a fictional location. The bus was real enough, UGB138H was a MacBraynes Bedford SB5, I photographed it in Inverness in 1970. A friend gave me a broken casting; the back was missing and I thought I could rebuild it. This is the result.
