Working hard!

This Wood Pigeon was doing a grand job of 'hoovering' up the food that the other birds had dropped!
He paused in his task briefly & looked at me ...... I think he was unimpressed that I was pointing the camera at him! It did give me a chance to get a fairly decent close up though :-)

So far the new feeders haven't been a great success ....... the Sparrows are avoiding the one we put out! Hopefully they will get used to it soon! A couple of the Starlings have had a go though!

A chilly supermarket run this afternoon ...... the traffic was horrendous as there is a road closure & other roadworks ...... every time this happens the town grinds almost to a halt!
