Abstract Thursday - Macro

It is wet out there. Hasn't stopped raining all day. It's not like we need any more rain, and not like others don't want it more... I really do think you rain dancers either need to stop or work harder on your localising...

Over her the traffic still fights with the temporary traffic lights. The road is turning into a muddy quagmire. And just when you thought the abandonment of the JSP * would allow us a small breather, another application for another hundred or so houses goes live.

* oddly, the web site doesn't yet acknowledge the withdrawal of at least one and probably all four of the unitary authorities... perhaps they don't want to admit defeat - certainly it would appear the developers don't. 

How they propose to mitigate the additional traffic of 250 more houses, or mitigate the lack of school places, or doctors and dentists... well, they've offered another multi-use games area. Ah well, that's ok then. At least they'll be able to watch the kids play ball while they sit in the traffic jams.

Meh, one thing after another. Anyhow, the wet is in the house too, as one of the bananananana plants in the utility room sends up a new dew-bedecked shoot. I liked the light coming through the dew-drop lens.
