Sash Windows

After reading the enthralling Pensioner and his interest in a Sash windows conversion to incorporate double glazing, I was delighted to see this fellow across the street doing what looked like a renewal of his sash cords (not double glazed though). I myself recall very often removing the weighted cord in order to clean top floor windows.
Anyway, I did take a lot of photos of this man as he worked unaware of a camera being pointed at him and, as the only other thing (more or less) that I did today was go out with the girls for a long, blethery session which didn't include photos, then here is the man. I would never have used a hammer myself, not sure what that was for!
