Time stood still

Local bookshop which the owner John Sparry has lived in since his birth. There are no mod coms - he still uses a washing boiler and mangle, doesn’t own a tv and still cooks on a black iron range. The house is the same as when it was built in the 1860s with the exception of a lean to kitchen added around the First World War.
