Around Elterwater

Great weather forecast, but high winds, meant we thought we'd have a decent walk, but staying low. We drove down to Elterwater, and walked a 7 - 8 mile loop past the Lake, along the River Brathay, down to Stang End, Slaters Bridge and back via the bottom of Limgmoor Fell.

The forecast wasn't entirely accurate, the totally clear skies were pretty well totally cloudy, but we did get a few gaps in the clouds to get the odd impressive moment. Winds certainly were high, so staying low was the right decision.
