The first Community Lunch of the new year today and 72 people enjoyed a lovely meal. I got one too, as Kathy’s carer. It didn’t feel right but it’s how it goes. I had peeled vegetables and helped make chocolate mousse last night...

This evening we made junk castles with two of our four young friends. Number 1 was with his parents at a Parents’ Consultation evening and number 2 at Spanish class then Scouts, so numbers were reduced by half. After the castles we moved onto Lego models. Three hours passed quickly!
