A Twig on the Sidewalk......

or, at least that was what I though it was, with my first glance.....
Then Molly gave the stick the sniff test..........     Zooom!  3/4 of the snake was able  to slither away.  The end of the tail acted like it had been run over by a golf cart.  Molly made sure the snake kept going until it was deep in the sawgrass where it would be safe.  It was strange though, because Molly is quite the huntress but she made no move to attack the snake.  She just bumped her nose up against it until it was gone.
Animals are amazing.......
