Little shiny beetle

We went to see muminlaw in hospital today. She's doing remarkably well, considering she's had a major operation and it's her 78th birthday tomorrow! Her shoulder replacement has gone well and she is currently not in too much pain. She's allergic to morphine, so they're keeping the pain away with paracetamol! She's a legend.

Apart from our visit to the hospital, we haven't done a whole lot else. I'm looking forward to climbing into bed soon.

I spotted this little critter while I was walking Abe this evening. I loved how shiny it was.
