The Guard Dog

I pass a remote cottage/ small holding on one of my regular routes walking the dogs and this chap is always very vocal but penned.
Today however, we all had a close up view. I would like to say that he's a big softy but I don't think he is!

The day has been very wet and apart from the two dog walks I haven't been out.
Instead I've been playing with images.
