Resting Deer

After finishing off the Ikea assembly we tidied up the tools, put my camera collection into the drawers and sorted out what is going to the tip and/or charity shop(s)

I swapped an HDD cable in my desktop PC which, fingers crossed, appears to have helped, at least it boots up now :-)

In need of some fresh air we walked around Charlecote Park, and a quick look at some of the resting deer herd. Lots of standing water about and the Avon is almost up to the level of the Dene where they meet at the weir, see extra.  Normally the Dene would not be that wide and the level of water in the Avon would be just about visible on the far side. I would guess the Avon is at least a metre higher than normal.  All looking very grey and wintery - but the forecast for tomorrow is cold/bright/frosty so hopefully good for a daylight blip :-)

Hope everyone else is in for a good weekend.
