beyond retro...

A quick visit to Kathy and Jim’s today to measure up a door they want a curtain making for. Jim wanted to show me all of his tape recorders - he’s got 9, including one he had when he was 12. And I thought my new cassette player was retro! Unfortunately I have to send it back because it isn’t recording properly. So Jim offered to lend me one of his. There is no way I’d know how to work any of his stuff though.
