Chipmunk

These cheeky chappies are actually Barbary Ground Squirrels which are typically found on the coast of Western Sahara, in Morocco, Algeria and in the vicinity of the Atlas Mountains.
The Fuerteventura squirrels were brought to the island some four decades ago as pets with two escaping, resulting in the invasive species increasing dramatically all over the island.
Engaging little critters..... but.
