A Pie Called Kevin

Another day phoning, little joy. Manager now believes me when I say I won't hit target, so we're discussing a plan... involves Kie or someone else who's a "proper salesman" (my words) phoning my customers and splitting the commission 50/50... a bit humiliating, but if I can select the customers for him to ring, protecting the ones who would be upset by his persistent pushy style, then I don't think I have much choice...
Anyway, had WTE near Waitrose tonight, so I did my shop in there to see how the other half live... I selected all the 1/2 price offers and food reduced as today was the sell-by date, and still spent £62 on one bag of shopping to last me the weekend - including this wonderfully named pie :D
WTE was two 20-something couples - had a fun evening, and even though they really just wanted one bottle for each couple as presents for Dads, they bought the minimum 6... won't be customers going forward, but maybe in 10/15 years!! And either way, a sale and a pleasurable evening...
