Grandad and Landon

A very fine day. Met Landon for the first time when we collected him from daycare. We have him for the next three days over the weekend.

And what a joy to see him. Grown so much since we saw him last June. Babbling away, although much was incomprehensible to the untuned ear. He soon had the living room floor covered with toys; cars, trucks, a garage, Lego and a little railway set.

Before collecting Landon Chris and I went hiking to Cowles Mountain and Pyles Peak a quite strenuous 6 mile out and back route which gave some spectacular views of the city of San Diego, the ocean and the hills and landscape of San Diego County.
