Trip to London

Arrived at our hotel in Covent Garden - quick change and then out to a lovely Persian Restaurant. Then on to the Canal Comedy Club in Little Venice to see News Revue which we usually make a point of seeing at the Edinburgh Festival. We were sitting at a table with the parents of the guy who did a hilarious take-off of Boris. At a time when world seems to be going mad, it was great to be among like thinking people. Trump and the Queen also featured heavily. Late night - but managed to fit in a couple of glasses of fizz before falling into bed. Tomorrow trip down the Thames, lunch and musical ‘Hamilton’. Late birthday present from the family to elder daughter, Laura.
