Read the manual!

Panic at camera club when all my pictures and LCD screen were covered in wide dark green lines!
After an hour fiddling in the menu and eventually turning to the manual, it turns out the strip lights in the room were to blame. Doh!
At least I learned a few new tricks after going through the menu so thoroughly!
