Perfect day

It was my birthday this week, so i decided I'd treat myself to a couple of nights in the Grasmere Youth Hostel. As luck would have it, the sun's shining all weekend in England's wettest corner. Today was mountain biking day. It didn't disappoint. Rock, mud, sunshine, views, tearooms and mossy woodlands. Probably the prettiest place in these wonderful islands.. And tonight, the local bar, with dozens of craft ales, has live music. What's not to like?
