A little village

Seen miles from anywhere.

A great day starting off with seaweed collecting followed by a chat over coffee with a lovely couple who live near the beach. Later a walk to Airds Bay, the track leading off the road at Croig, along with my neighbour and history guide, how lucky is that.

We walked to the headland and then down to the beach where three holiday cottages lie, heaven! Opposite one cottage lay this wonderful array of painted stones, C was aware of them and watched my face, must have been a picture. Afterwards a scramble over the rocks and then some back tracking, we couldn’t see the way forward, and up the incline I hope to show in extras.

The cottage is near the stones, the incline looking up, then down and part of the track earlier on the walk.
