Patriotic Squirrel

Mae and I were watching the squirrels running around the yard in the snow this morning & as I went for my camera she started yelling that the squirrel was eating the flag! I came back out with the camera & the squirrel was actually inside the pot, nosing around in the snow by the flag rather than eating it, and then he/she turned around & just stood there so quietly, with apparent respect, & I snapped this picture. It was Mae's favorite one, and her choice for today's blip. I think we got somewhere around 4-6 inches of snow during the night and into this morning. It's changed everything into a winter wonderland for now. :)))
