The reason for the visit

We are in London to see Shen Yun at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. We saw it advertised on the underground last year when we were visiting and booked a few months back.

A programme of dances and music inspired by China’s 5,000 years of civilisation. Fascinating, incredible dancing and acrobatics, costumes and colours, with digital animated backdrops which create seamless interaction between projection and performers on the stage.

Photography wasn’t allowed...thank goodness. So a picture of the programme is a substitute.

We had time to spare before the show, so stopped off at the V&A to see the Cars exhibition. Making the most of the membership that I got last year to get into the Dior exhibition.
