New Bike

The Husband is pretty good at destroying bikes. Through no fault of his own. He uses his bike to commute, and part of his commute is via ferry into the city. This exposes his bikes to the elements and salt from the sea. Usually it is the gears that seize up, so when he saw this bike on sale, he thought "Genius!" Single speed hopefully means less bits to go wrong.

As you can see he is utterly thrilled with his new purchase. The other thing that he's obsessing like some kind of bike geek interested in at the moment is Strava, as he has noticed that one of the rides goes right past our house. Apparently out of 8, he is coming 4th, and of course the fact that he's done it on his single speed bike probably means he should be faster...it's all a big Tui ad. Hehehe!

In other news, the Eldest still has her grots, so we're having a weekend around home, instead of camping. Them's the breaks.
