Oh Happy Day!

It's not a deer! But even better - it's my favorite winter resident bird!! Some of you none of you will remember that back in early November I spotted my favorite winter guest far earlier than I usually do. Haven't seen hide nor feather of it since then. But today! Today - a miserable cold wet day - suddenly who should appear for a bite to eat! And who should be lucky enough to be looking out the window at the time! Yay! It's my hermit thrush. The bird that makes me the happiest in the winter.
