Au Revoir, Girls
Mike and I had a meeting with all our colleagues this morning, but we left after lunch and met up with the girls in Praça do Comércio, Lisbon's main square on the edge of the Tagus River. We watched "a little African dancing" and then walked along the riverfront, watching all the tourists and enjoying the sunshine.
We are now safely home, and waiting for news of them landing in Manchester...
Gratefuls:
- all our new colleagues, and their lively kids
- pastéis de bacalhau (salt cod fritters) filled with Serra cheese, delicious
- running up to Largo de São Domingos last thing, for a ginginha (sour cherry liqueur) in the original place
