Calpol and cuddles

I slept much better last night, and other than briefly waking once when I got myself wedged sideways in my cot, I didn't wake up until 6am. Typically though, thomas woke up having had a bad dream, so mummy still ended up having a very broken night's sleep!!
I have been very clingy this morning and mummy struggled to do much in the way of housework. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but grandma, grandad, uncle marmoo and auntie cat were coming round for tea tonight. Luckily daddy finished work early and looked after me whilst mummy cleaned the bathroom and then sorted the kitchen whilst me and mummy went to collect thomas from school and nipped to the shop for a birthday cake for uncle marmoo.
Me and Thomas had our tea and were ready for cuddles (me) and games (Thomas) with grandad uncle marmoo and auntie cat when they arrived. We gave uncle marmoo his birthday cards and present and sang happy birthday to him whilst he blew out the candles on his cake. Grandma was on the long day at work so she wasn't arriving til later, but she'd said we could do the cake before mine and Thomas's bedtime.
Mummy put me to bed tonight and I fell asleep almost immediately. Unfortunately though, I woke up again very very sad later on. Uncle marmoo tried and failed to settle me. Mummy settled me but it didn't last long. Grandma stood next to my cot patting me for a long time until I fell back to sleep again.
Then I woke up as they were all leaving. Mummy decided to give me some more calpol, as she had tried everything else and nothing was working, and I have been a bit snotty today, so she's not sure if I'm brewing something..
After some calpol (I enjoyed chewing the syringe) and some cuddles I went back to bed. Mummy and daddy are hoping I settle!
