A tricky little subject!

I spotted this guy yesterday but I had already put up a blip so I ventured out today to see if I could find him again! Well I did but he would only settle on leaves that were in the bright sunlight so I had trouble getting a good clear picture. This was the best one and the contrast is pretty harsh but I still like it. I have photographed red robber flies before and the common robber fly but this is the first all black robber fly I have seen.
