2020 Friday — Back Bay
The variety of boats caught my attention. I was thinking about boats this afternoon because our grandson-in-law, Justin, in the U.S. Navy, is leaving San Diego on a big ship today. Deployed. So for the next 5-8 months our granddaughter Desiree is home with three kids managing on her own.
This afternoon was our last walk for January along the back bay in Tidelands Park in the community of Morro Bay. We’ve got things to do in SoCal so we are heading south tomorrow.
We had gone to Morro Bay to return library materials, mail a letter, gas-up the car, and walk the pups in Tidelands Park. Then I thought we were headed back to Cayucos. But we decided to stop for dinner at Rose’s Bar & Grill.
We watched sunset from the restaurant. It was beautiful.
Back at the house I gathered the things I need to take with me in the morning. We’ll be up and out early.
