My kind of weather...

I wish the weather never got much hotter than this! A very comfortable 22º, with a light wind and the sun out this afternoon.

We had our first blackberrying session of the year. My parents' house is surrounded by a 19 acre field (they have the one acre that was subdivided off when you were still allowed to do that). The field is completely neglected by the owners and is full of blackberry bushes. This means that we have free access to as many blackberries as we can pick. The people on the other side help themselves too (as well as helping themselves freely to the water in the dam - they even have their own pump set up there!) If it is too hot for too long they will all shrivel up though.

I like feathers that I find stuck in bushes and grass. Blip was a toss up between this and a swarm of plague soldier beetles. 12 year old didn't like the beetles - a bit creepy - so here is the gentle feather instead.
