Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs...
I prepped a new model for the Port Appin West Highland fleet yesterday, gave it a coat of white primer and left it in the garage to harden overnight. Early this morning I went over to apply a maroon top coat, shook the spray can vigorously as advised on the label and pressed the button. It went 'Phishhhsshhh' and several jets of icy cold, very runny paint went across the worktop, over my hands and onto the garage floor. Releasing the button didn't stop the spray, I reckon the seal had gone, so I threw the tin into the box of other paint tins while it went on hissing and spattering until the air ran out.
Not how I'd planned to start the day.
