Winter Light

I've been busy painting the kitchen. I decided to cover the wall near the ovens with a dark colour to camouflage any marks. It's been difficult to cover as there were bare patches of plaster and stubborn waterproof paint patches scattered here and there. The matt paint I'd dug out the shed was old and flakey. I found this out after I'd tried to put one coat of matt on the window surround only having to scrape it off after I'd done it! - so annoying.

I was glad to get out for a walk around the tarn. We bumped into a friend with her family on the way round.

I managed to get another coat on the feature wall after a visit to the DIY shop to get more white matt paint (for the other walls), before prosecco and steak o'clock.....
