My first road run

It’s happened to me! I’ve actually started to look forward to my next run! I decide yesterday that today would be the first time that I ran on the streets to MediacityUK. It’s very cold today, around 2 degrees, and there is even a fog, but I didn’t let that stop me! I really enjoyed running in the cold with an icy feel to my cheeks. My reward was this lovely photo of the swans on the river and a cup of tropical green tea (never tried that before!) at Pret A Manger. The only problem is, I’m really going off treadmill runs, which is giving me another reason not to go to the gym! So my next target is to make myself do a run around Media City followed by a swim at the gym.

Today I am feeling grateful for the fact that I moved to where I live now in quite a random fashion and it has turned out really quite well. Everything my family and I need is on our doorstep. It’s all good.
