children's moon
When junior and I would go on walks together, if the moon was visible he would tell me 'that's the children's moon.'
According to the wisdom of a six year old, it is called the 'children's moon' because when the moon is out at night, children who are asleep by then don't ever get to see it, SO, it stays in the sky on some days so those children can see the moon.
Very philosophical and making very good sense!
