Good, Bad and Ugly

Took some binbags with us to Calgary as behind this view the dunes contained a lot of plastic debris that the last storm deposited.  See extra.  Amongst the usual suspects of bottles, crisp bags and endless fishing twine/rope etc, were a hypodermic needle in casing and a plastic gun cartridge shell.  Someone else I met on the beach had a whole pocket full of these - they've come from shooting seals to stop them stealing salmon from the many fish farms in the waters off this island.  Part of the price we pay for our smoked salmon.
