Munambam

I could not resist giving this photo a painterly look, which it already had to a large extent because of the rainbow colours of the boats. We cycled down the island to the ferry .. this is where I took this shot .. Tourists seem to rarely go to the other side .. we were the only non Indians we saw the whole time we were there.. And that means lots of greetings, smiles, Hi's what's your name, people cycling alongside, hooting (horns rather than laughter) We had no idea where we were going but it was a great adventure and we found our way back. The trip on the 15 minute ferry with our bikes was 5p each!!

I am just getting ready for my 5pm Malayalam lesson with Sana so had better go and do some homework!!
