Betelgeuse explosion?

I was on a late afternoon walk in the forest and noticed a very bright star. I took some pictures of it. When I uploaded the pictures I saw that the star was not the same size and shape in every shot. That was very interesting. I sent them to Helsinki newspaper (Helsingin Sanomat). I will let you know what they say when they see the email.

I took these with 150 mm macro lens, not the best possible lens option, but the best I have. I made a magnification of the star on the right side.

I got some a bit disappointing news, not yet from the newspaper, but somebody told me this is Sirius. So Much Ado About Nothing.
