I can't tell you how little I care where the queen's genes live and I have been doing my best to avoid the full-on, Brexit-vacuum media coverage about the resignation. But I did enjoy this ad I spotted in one of yesterday's newspapers.

What I do care about is how someone thinks they can just announce that they are going to live in another country and assume that will be OK. The arrogance! The sense of entitlement! The privilege! I doubt Canada, despite it being the best place in the world for accepting refugees, would take me in if I suddenly announced I'd had enough of Blighty.
