Portland Basin

After an excellent lunch at the Bridge View Cafe in the Portland Basin Museum, Ashton-under-Lyne, we explored the museum (see Mr. MD's blip )     and also had a most interesting walk around the canal basin where three canals meet.    This view looks out towards the Peak Forest Canal.   My extra is a showcase of household items on display in the Museum.   I'm sure many Blippers will recognise some of them.
