Heard, then seen.....

We saw two firecrests too but they didn't hang around for me. Grateful for the zoom on my Panasonic Lumix to capture this robin, but he was more co-operative and hung around a bit longer. Such happy little birds. 

We decided to make the most of a very cold but bright and beautiful afternoon and really enjoyed a walk at High Elms Country Park.  Lots of families doing the same too and certainly the place to take your dog for a good run. Very muddy though! The hot chocolate at The Green Roof Cafe at  Beeches ( Bromley Environmental Education Centre at high Elms)  was perfect! 

Roast pork dinner almost ready, then we're going to light the log fire for the first time this winter.
