Happy (early) birthday uncle sam!

Last night was another unsettled one. I'm still snotty, but have got better and better as the day has gone on today, so hopefully I'm getting over it!
This morning mummy had a little lie in and daddy got up with me and Thomas. When mummy got up, we had showers and daddy got me dressed.
We went to swimming with Thomas and he did very well! I cheered him on and did lots of clapping and smiling.
We headed to nannie and grandpa's house for lunch - we had a fry up and I ate lots of tomatoes, mushrooms, sausage, bacon scrambled egg, beans and some toast. Yum!
After lunch we gave uncle sam his birthday cake and sang happy birthday to him - it's not his birthday til Thursday, but he's not back from London again for the next 3 weeks. I really really wanted the cake and didn't take my eyes off it, even after he'd blown out the candles!
This afternoon I did lots of practicing of standing up at the edge of the sofa, and although I can now pull myself up no problem, I am still refusing to try walking along it!
