Crossing the Saône
On Eurostar, running late due to a security issue at Bourg St Maurice. We were diverted onto what was billed as a quicker route but which sadly turned out not to be.
No matter, there was some lovely countryside to watch and I took this as we crossed the Saône. According to Wikipedia, the Saône is a river of eastern France. It is a right tributary of the Rhône, rising at Vioménil in the Vosges department and joining the Rhône in Lyon, just south of the Presqu'île.
