Red kite down the road

So, another lovely day and we set out for another walk in wellies to deal with the mud.

Turning out of the Close and along the road there is a very old oak tree that hangs over the pavement.  Just as we were approaching it, there was a squawk and this kite landed in the branches.

I love the fact that the tail is on one side of the branch and the rest is on the other!
