Silly Saturday ....

.... snow day.

We got out earlier than normal as it's supposed to snow today starting around mid-day.  We just took a quick walk at Housenick as it was really quite cold and windy.  It started snowing just as we made our way back to the car. And it was snowing in earnest in no time at all.

We stopped at a convenience store on the way home and saw these silly intrepid Girl Scouts out in the snow selling their Girl Scout cookies. They were soon packing things up! I took a few pictures through the front window before we pulled away.  This photo is in focus but the windshield wiper had just swiped across leaving a blur of water.  I quite like the effect.

We spent the rest of the day at home while the snow continued through the day.  There wasn't much accumulation though .... only about 3-4 inches. I have added an extra of some of the birds that came to visit.  The feeders always take a hit during snow storms.
