The Morning Cyclist by Alekos Fassianos

A visit to the new privately owned Goulandris art gallery in Athens. A really nice gallery with a great collection of European and Greek works.. and important for me right now, benches to sit on in each room, and a very good cafe.. It's in a beautifully restored old neoclassical building. I was so pleased to be able to manage it.. I'm definitely on the way to resuming normal activities, though still need one crutch. This painting is typical of Fassianos, one of the most famous Greek 20th century painters.
