Waiting for the Storm.

We have had a lot of hot weather here in Brisbane lately. Today my weather station measured 37.4 degrees celsius and @ almost 10pm it is still 25.6 degrees outside.
We were hoping for a storm which we have not seen in quite a while (that means weeks in Queensland) and so we were quite excited when we felt a cool breeze blowing into the heat of the afternoon and the clouds starting to get very heavy with the smell of humidity in the air. So far nothing but we are quite desperate for rain as all our lawns are starting to turn gold instead of the usual luscious green. Won'e be long, I can feel it's only around the corner!
