Newly born

I was watching One Born Every Minute this morning, thinking that Chickpea wasn't really watching but just playing in the room. I had to make some food so I turned it off halfway through but after we ate Chickpea said, "I want to watch that doctor show again!" I was surprised it even registered with her and more shocked that she was interested in it! I thought, Why not? so we finished watching, talking about the babies that were born. Later I heard her playing in her room, chattering, "I got a baby in my belly" while sticking her stomach out, and, "not get baby out of my belly!" A short while later she came down the stairs with her new born baby (if only it was that easy!) It was a boy and she named him Issac (like Annabel's baby she said) and it was a proud proud mommy moment when she lifted her top to feed him (after first finding a quiet place in the rocket.) I love that she sees breastfeeding as the norm.
