Japanese Tourism & Andy Warhol

A jaunt across to Hong Kong today to see the Andy Warhol exhibition '15 Minutes Eternal' at the Hong Kong Museum of Art.

Admission is only HK$20 (£1.60) and of course included many of his classic pop art works the Marilyn portraits and the Campbell's Soup Cans from the 1960s Factory Years. Interesting to see how throughout the 1970s each portrait began with a polaroid photo which was the printed into a silkscreen to become an iconic masterpiece.

On the walk back up Nathan Road, through Tsim Sha Tsui, to have a quick beer there was a promotion on Japanese tourism in the entrance. Managed to grab a nice shot through the thronging crowd of Hong Kong photographers. Kawaii ne?
