We drove over to hike up the Roaches and found ourselves at the wrong end of a queue of like-minded people and lacking a parking space. So we ended up parking up in Leek, walking along the old railway track to Rudyard Lake and coming back along the Feeder. It's certainly a long time since we took that particular walk...
