Portobello beach.....

A dry but dull day. Various things to do including bringing in a limousin cow that needed calving. Everything was there, just needed a pull with the calving jack. A big heifer calf, but mum doesn’t have the biggest bag of milk so we shall see what happens .
Had various things to do this afternoon including a trip to the plumbing supplier at Seafield to get a quote for Mrs F’s bathroom project. Stopped off for 10 minutes to walk my co pilot on Portobello beach. It was a tad chilly and the only other folk around were dog walkers.
Back home to feed cattle , but it’s getting gradually lighter as the month goes on .
