The cold weather has arrived

Our above normal temperatures are over.  When I was outside taking some photos it was 35ºF/1.5ºC.  I hope the nightly freezing temperatures don't do real damage to the many buds that are out there. 

There was some new spring growth showing on the hydrangeas.  What scared me was when I saw some buds on the red bud tree.
