Jay

Really dull light again today with mist coming and going.  I needed to make a few telephone calls so I stayed at home and set up the camera in our back bedroom which was a lot warmer than outside!  A good selection of birds visited including a blackcap, a pair of marsh tits, a large group of long-tailed tits, a great spotted woodpecker and a pair of bullfinches but I expect, as usual, they will all disappear on the day of the big garden bird count.  I settled for a picture of one of our regular jays.

Last night was our annual print competition at the Grange Photographic Society.  I had another successful night with one of my colour prints highly commended and one of my mono prints winning first place.
